Hello everyone,

We have released another Beta version of Avast Cleanup product!

What's new in Avast Cleanup product?

• Fixed deleting messages in MS Outlook during Maintenance.
• Fixed wrong number (over 1.8 Billion) of outdated programs in Software Update feature.
• Fixed security issue with potential privilege escalation via logging into a user-writable folder.
• Fixed crash of service.
• Fixed displaying of post update screen (release notes).
• Fixed various other bugs & issues to make Avast Cleanup more stable and smoother to use.

How can you help?

• If you already have a Beta version installed you should get an update automatically (update checks for a new version every 12 hours) if you don't have it yet proceed with the next step to install it.
• Download the Beta version: https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-tu/beta/avast_tu_online_setup.exe.
• Execute the installation package and go through the wizard to install the product.
• The product shall guide you or you can freely navigate through it and try it on your own to see how it works.
• Please try as much features as you can to see how they work and check whether there are any bugs or unexpected behavior.
• If you find any bugs during testing, please create a new thread in this forum section.
• Please provide us also with feedback about what you like most and what you would change.
• Since we aim to deliver the best Cleanup product - would you add anything to Cleanup that is missing? Do not hesitate to share your feedback!

In the meantime we are working on a settings which will allow you to completely disable the product while you are not working with it directly (when the product is not opened) which might also serve you in this case as a kind of workaround to make sure that Cleanup won't consume any resources while you're gaming.

Hi, has it been postponed..? I can't find any such setting in this build. Cheers

Good point actually, yes these settings will be in the next update because the recent one was pretty much just bugfixes and we plan to have these settings in the 20.2 version together with other changes.
The point is that it goes through the whole product architecture and as such it is slightly more difficult and will take us more time to finish.
