Avast Business Antivirus 20.7

Hi,

Avast Business Antivirus version 20.7 has just been released, September 24, 2020.


Release Summary

This release contains new improvements and bug fixes to our Avast Business Antivirus client.
Avast Business Antivirus 20.7 will be available for new installations straight away. All existing devices with Avast Business Antivirus 20.6 or lower will start the automatic upgrade to 20.7 at a later time.
If you wish to upgrade your devices to 20.7 prior to the automatic upgrade, then you can create a new Task (Update device –Program update task) from your console.
A system reboot will be required to complete the installation. There will be no forced reboot unless you have set this in your device policy settings. Servers will never reboot, regardless of your device policy settings.

Improvements

•      Remote Access Shield –Enjoy even stronger protection against hackers. This new feature lets you choose who can remotely access your
        computer and lets you block the rest. (The feature will be manageable from Business Console version 8.7 and available for unmanaged clients
        in AV 20.9)
•      Improved performance –Your antivirus now runs even more smoothly thanks to tighter integration with the Windows registry.


Resolved issues

•     The incorrect yellow dashboard state after a new version was released, even though auto-updates were on.
•     SmartScan stopping caused UI freezing in some cases
•     Firewall Public mode was not blocking ICMP responses while scanning, but now it does
•     Fixed impact of new CEF on IPM content and IDP
•     The incorrect handling of file size in the virus chest was preventing more files to be added
•     Rescue disk now checks for USB drive size

After tests I cannot get this to work on macOS BigSur. Is there something in development or a BETA I can download that works with Big Sur?

ABA 20.7 is a Windows version/client.
