Hello, Im having a hard time resolving my issue where the Avast runs my CPU at 100% to the point where my laptop overheats and shuts down. I cannot repair nor uninstall this virus program. I tried using the Avastclear tool in safemode but it just hangs at the Avast Antivirus Clear windows that moves a blue line back and forth, once I was able to get passed this and it actually took me to the next screen where it had the directory of the installed program but once I clicked the uninstall button it just hung at the Uninstall the product window.
When I try to repair in normal/safe mode it hangs at about 85% at the creating a hardlink. Uninstalling in safe/normal mode it hangs at replacing files. Im not sure what to do at this point. I ran sfc/scan to check for any system corrupted files, none were found. I removed all the components like Fileshield, Web Shield but nothing changed. Avast is Anyone had similar issue and resolution your help if appreciated.
