« on: October 15, 2006, 06:39:21 AM »
Recently AVAST placed several files infected with this worm in the Chest.  What action should I take now?

Thanks  ???

Hi Benett,

You can safely leave malware in the chest where it is entirely harmless. It's best not to delete malware in the chest (at least for a month or so) just in case it is a false positive identification of a legitimate file. This is why all anti-malware programs have this feature- although usually called 'quarantine'.
