You say you have sent a message to my email address but that is very unlikely as you have wrongly spelt my email address.  Is this another of your tricks, I am going to start adding all this to Facebook and Twitter and lets see what others say about Avast.

How did you get to know they had sent it to the wrong email address ?

They can only send the email according to the address you gave.

Meanwhile you haven't said what it was you were asking and where ?

Please do report this on facebook - and anywhere else you can.  I was going to try some AVAST products, but after finding our how difficult (impossible?) they have made it to cancel a "free trial" without being charged and uninstall without paying them for software to do it, I'm staying as far as possible from AVAST and reporting my experience on the tech boards on which I post.

I was trying the free version (which is not free if you have to pay them to properly uninstall it), but fortunately, I drive-image my system drive, with cherry-picked file backups (via Second-Copy) to re-restore certain files (profiles, etc.) overwritten by the drive-image restore.

Also fortunately, I always check on how to cancel & uninstall before I try ANY new software; that's how I found out about the cancel/uninstall problems with AVAST products.  I need a VPN & a couple of other things, but you can be sure they will not be from AVAST.  I don't like unethical behavior on the part of a company.

Check your other post. I provided an answer to your question on how to unsubscribe if you don't have an order#.
