when scanning,it wont stop automatically,it just keeps on running, unless i stop it manually, it just keeps scanning my files over and over again.please help iam new to this computer thing.win98SE. ???

Have you attempted to reboot and try the scan again?

Why do you think it's scanning over and over?
How long did you leave it working?

How large is your hard drive...What scan level do you use? (quick/normal/thorough)

What is your system configuation?
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.

everything fine now, went through each scan level,it seems to have rectified its self. ;D
