You can also simply wait and eventually it auto-renews or, you can do a clean install.

Hey Bob, I had the same problem as the original post on Windows 7 (64B) and I followed the clean install instructions you provided and that worked (although it was work).  Thumbs up.

Running Windows 7 and Firefox.

After I disabled a Firefox add-on called Ghostery the reactivation worked just fine for me.
