How do I enable Silent Mode/turn off notifications/popups on Avast for Mac (Free Version)?

There is no Silent Mode in Avast Security for Mac. However the product suppress most of the messaging when your Mac is in Do not Disturb mode. Of course, it will not stop virus alerts.
Also the Premium users have option to turn off Offers in Preferences > Privacy
