I found there is a bug in the interface.

Sometimes when I go into protection> virus scans there are no scans, there is just "other scans". See Attachment.

To make the other scans reappear I need to create a custom scan.

Does he do it to someone else?

This bug should be fixed.
Thank you and good day!
Nunzio

avast block screen mirroring by miracast

Hi It appears the lastest avast premium is blooking miracast connections.
Symptoms
w10 v20h2 -- last ver and all microsoft patches
tell
with firewall enabled the pc will connect to the bush wirless display / tv and appear to connect.
On the tv we get a mesage connected to wireless display. However the laptop display does nto appear on the tv screen.
I think the firewall is blocking the ip packets comming back from the tv to tell w10 to change the projection mode on the laptop and that a econd screen is now avalaiable.
Disabling the firewall makes miracast work.
Wifi for the pc is enabled and avast has its profile as private.

Any suggestions on how to get miracast working with the firewall enabled.

Robert

I use MSDisplayAdapter_91 which is MS miracast dongle without problems.

I'm using the latest beta build without any problems.

in the past  2 weeks or so,  I get a box in the center of my screen that pops up, but its empty, does not say anything in it at all
as well as the AVAST icon on my task bar.

I have to close it before I can do any web browsing.
then,  every 10-20 seconds, it pops up, and goes away by itself.  but it stops anything I am doing and interrupts for 5 seconds
I can not continue with anything for 5 seconds every 10-20 seconds.
it stops any video I am watching,
it stops any web page that is loading
it is more of a problem then anything else AVAST is guarding me from
it IS the problem its supposed to stop

I am running WIN 7  64 bit  NO SP1
if AVAST cant behave, I may have to drop the service ( uninstall )  and use a lesser company that does not interrupt me

Looks like last releases broke computers. A lot of unwanted messages from Avast. And a lot of URL:Blacklist for any websites I visit. Also I read here you block big websites without reason. Please fix you program.

More details required, before any fix could be applied if required, e.g. what unwanted messages and what sites, etc. etc.
