Hello also has the AD block feature and block tracking when browsing online?

Also, having web protection active in Avast Free, is it necessary to also have the extension active or not?
Is the web protection enhanced or at the security level is it still safe except for the additional features of the extension?

Hi, see: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/18/

Thanks!
Another question ... Now is the browser extension safe as far as privacy is concerned? Aren't there any risks?
Thank you and good day!

You're welcome. (Yes, it's safe. Note, you can disable data sharing if you don't want to participate.)

Thanks!  :)

Is it safe and effective against tackers? Reading the numbers that appear in the icon seem to be less than those that appear with other Ad Blocks.
I like extension, but I would like to make sure it is effective and safe. :) ;)
Thank you and good day!

This is how Avast describes the product,
Browse without worry or fear with Avast in your corner: we’ll check every site you visit,
from Facebook to your bank, to ensure nothing puts you or your data at risk.
It isn't an ad blocker it checks and prevents you from reaching dangerous sites and helps against phishing.
uBlock origin is an excellent Ad blocker.

ùùBut I noticed that it also blocks ads, and blocks those in YouTube too,but not within the videos, but on the YouTube web page. Although AdGuard blocks many more. I did some tests using either one or the other extension. :)
