Passwords on new computer
« on: November 20, 2020, 06:16:56 PM »
I have just bought a new laptop and am trying to get my password locker on to it.  I have Avast Free installed but whenever I try to access passwords, I am asked to upgrade to a paid version, which I don't need.  I have Avast Free on my PC and my old laptop and passwords are synchronised between the two.  How can I get the password locker transferred to my new laptop?

That seems like quite an urgenz problem. I would contact the AVAST customer support, I'm sure they can help you out.
I'm sorry I don't have any better solution for this.

Thanks the.Julie.  I have now been able to get past that issue but now, when I try to sync my passwords, I get a message asking me to input the six-figure code sent to my email.  Unfortunatley, the email never arrives.  I have tried talking to support but they seemed a bit put out that I was only using the free programme and were of no help whatsoever.  Anyone got any suggestions?
