VUPlayer app false positive?
« on: November 28, 2020, 02:41:25 PM »
Avast is saying vulpayer is trying to access login info in Firefox.

Is this a false positive?

When I manually scan vuplayer.exe it doesn't detect anything.

No problem, but how to do it? All I see is a "Insert Image" button, and it only inserts img tags on my post, it doesn't allow me to browse for the file in my computer.

Thanks for telling me how to post an attachment, I was looking only above on the icons, not below.

No, it is not a malware detection, it is a privacy issue.
Avast is just telling you what that app is trying to do and you have to make a choice, allow or not allow
