THREAT BLOCKED pop up everytime I open Chrome

Hi there, hope you guys can help me with this.
Since about an hour ago, every time I open Chrome I get an Avast pop up saying Threat Blocked. I haven't added any new extensions, programs, etc nor visited suspicious sites.
I couldn't figure out what was the deal so I have uninstalled Chrome and I'm currently running a deep scan.
In the meantime, does anyone know what could be the cause?

I'm on Windows 8.1
Avast version 20.9

A screenshot of the popup might have helped, but since you have removed Chrome that really isn't an option.

Try checking the WebShield Log to see if there is anything in there that might help, find it here C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\report\WebShield.txt
