Amazon Prime cannot be watched via VPN
« on: November 29, 2020, 11:32:04 AM »
I am not able to watch Amazon Prime via VPN. I keep receiving this message:
"Your device is connected to the internet through a VPN or a proxy service. Turn it off and try again. For more help, visit primevideo.com/vpn."
Is there a solution?

Hi,

Which streaming server did you use?
Please PM me your SecureLine VPN activation code or email.

This response seems to suggest there is a work-around.  If so, I'd love to know what it is.  Amazon Prime is my only lack while on Avast VPN.

Hi,

Could you provide more details, please? What error message did you receive? Which streaming server did you use?

If your problem is the same as you quoted. Then I would suggest that you follow the request by r@vast in response to that post.

@r@avast,

Hope that helps.

In this case, it would be because you are not using a location optimized for streaming. In Avast SecureLine VPN one needs to select those servers marked as streaming when accessing streaming sites. https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Use-SecureLine-VPN-standalone/#idt_020

That doesn't appear to help.

The above is marked as for streaming and I now get the following on Prime,

Any other suggestions? Thanks
