I came across some problems with Avast
« on: December 06, 2020, 05:16:10 AM »
I have used Avast for more than 3 years. I came across some problems. For example, Avast will delete some files it considers to have virus behaviors. But normally they are not virus. I have to decide whether they are or are not virus and creat exception accordingly, or else I can't use many softwares. So, what do I need an anti-Virus for if I know which is which? I don't even know whether the files it kills are really virus or not, or whether I should add exceptions or not. Another problem is, once in a while, Avast will automatically change its settings so that I can't open websites. I have to "Reset to default" and then restart to access website browers for internet surfing. I have no idea why Avast functions in this way or how to resolve it. My computer is protected perfectly by Avast for a long time and I think a few adjustments may bring improvements. Thank you for your time!!
