Avast stops Program from functioning properly

Have Flexi 12 connected to Roland CM400
Operating system is Windows 10
Avast Premium Security

FlexiSign 12 operates well
Can design cut projects and save
But when it comes to cut final product process as follows
press cut icon
instead of it opening a view of cut project, then opening production manager it goes straight to production manager and hangs Flexi 12

The only fix for this was to disable Avast that seemed to fix problem
I did this 2 months ago, worked until yesterday
Flexi12 is hanging again

Check Avast
It has turned itself back on

How do I get both these programs happy with each other

Tried to put all Flexisign 12 exe as allowed programs
As shown in attachment
Flexisign 12 must call a program in between Flexi and Production manager
Have questioned Flexisign as to what that program might be
