  Hello Avast , On my Pc I have two blue buttons , Which one do I poke to get Update of my Virus definition  tables / files , Left or right mouse button ? , ivas or program ?? ,  Phil

iVas is the definition files and programs is the program itself.  You should be default be set to update both automatically.

Joe,
Are you talking about the "ball" icons in the tray?

If so, the A ball is for the On Access Protection and the Avast scanner itself.

The "I" ball controls the VRDB database.

Right clicking on either one opens up the menu.
Left clicking on the A ball goes directly to the On Access protection screen.
Left clicking on the I ball does nothing.   ;D
