How to exclude a Networked drive from On Access Scanner
« on: October 12, 2006, 11:43:10 AM »
Hi all, we have 3 servers, 2 are windows 2000 & 1 is SBS2003 which runs the ADNM console. On one of the windows 2000 servers, I am running sage through a shared drive which is f:\. My question is how can I exclude this shared drive or path which is f:\company.006 from on access scanning as sage is running far too slow  :( to make it useable I want to leave all scanners enabled just not let any data on F:\ to be subjected to real time scans.

Regards John  :)

Hi John, is this the oplock issue...? (if not, I'm sorry I'm not making any sense :))
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving's not for you.

Hi, thanks for your reply, it is not the oplock issue, I have now sorted it anyway. Thanks again though.
