I used McAfeeVirusScan 7.0 for over a year.  In my opinion they are so far thumbs down that my thumb dropped through the floor.  They constantly turned off my service to collect more money even though I had just paid them.  So finally I had enough sense to give them up and try avast.  I understand I get a free 59 day free trial period.  What happens then, how much does it cost per year?  Can I renew my subscription without going through the hassels of lost service?  Any tips about learing how to use avast and keeping up quality low-cost virus protection.
