We're pleased to announce that Avast Business Cloud Management Console 8.11 has been released! (December 16, 2020).

This release brings new and more advanced Policies and Global Policies for the multi-tenant consoles. Along with completely redesigned Policies, the release brings a new Flexible monthly billing for Managed Service Providers.

Additionally, the release brings several additional enhancements, stability or quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

New Feature(s) & Enhancements
Redesigned Policies
o   The new Policies are only available in the new beta UI. You can still keep using the current console UI, but opening policies will always take you to the new UI.
o   The main logic in Policies was redefined so that now you define your settings just once, and it will apply to all devices, regardless of the operating system.
o   The structure of settings was changed for better navigation.
o   We added information about who and when created or modified a Policy.
o   Exclusions were consolidated across all services on a single page for better exclusion management.

Global Policies (multi-tenant consoles only)
o   Sites/Customers can be assigned with a Global Policy to streamline managing settings at scale.
o   Policy settings can be locked so that it cannot be changed by a site/customer Admin.
o   Unlocked settings can be modified on the site/customer level to manage specific needs of a single site/customer.
o   It’s possible to add and manage site/customer specific exclusions which are not propagated to the other sites/customers.
o   It’s possible to convert a Global policy to a Site/Customer Policy.
o   Site/Customer creation flow was adjusted so that you can select whether Global or Site/Customer Policies will be used.

Monthly flexible billing (multi-tenant consoles only)
o   Monthly flexible billing method is only available to our partners in the multi-tenant console. In case you cannot create a new customer within the console with the flexible billing method, contact your Account Manager.
o   Customer creation flow was adjusted so that you can select whether Pre-paid or Monthly flexible billing will be used.
o   Added Invoices and Payment method tabs under the Account section.
o   Added possibility to offer a trial or paid service and device limits per customer on the Subscriptions page.[/li][/list]

•   Removed redundant items leading to the old UI from the main navigation.
•   Added the possibility to schedule a report for multiple sites/customers (multi-tenant consoles only).
•   Added PDF download for all reports in the multi-tenant and beta consoles.
•   Updated reports graphs with stackable types.
•   Added the possibility to install Remote Control from the menu on a device.

Resolved issues
•   Fixed an issue with a Local Admin seeing a list of Global Admins in the report scheduler.
•   Fixed an issue with patches stuck in Deploying status while a device is offline.
•   Fixed an issue with getting an error when deleting an unused policy.
•   Fixed an issue with missing service expiration warning when more devices were added to the console than available seats.
•   Fixed an issue with a different Restart setting not being saved in a policy.
•   Fixed an issue with the Device status bar showing 0 devices on the dashboard.
•   Fixed an issue with Secureline VPN not being uninstalled after the policy change.
