I had the Free Avast over a year ago. Then I upgraded to the Paid subscription $30... I thought it included a VPN but it did not and anything really useful required an additional PAID Subscription so I 'Thought' I canceled 'Auto Renewal' .. found another suitable program for my needs (Norton 360) I AD to UNINSTALL AVAST to run Norton.. so I did.
About two Months ago I received a Credit Card charge for approximately $80 for 'Auto-renewal' through my Wife's PayPal. I disputed the charge showing I had cancelled before the 60 Day period was up but have gotten no reimbursement through PayPal or through Avast. I recently 'inherited' a Laptop and decided I would go ahead and Install Avast on this.. since I HAVE ALREADY PAID $80 for it. I Logged into My Avast account.. it now shows...NO Paid Proscription? GREAT!! NO REFUND..NO PRODUCT and NO WAY to CONTACT to get this resolved! I am 65 years Old ..on Social Security and cannot AFFORD this type of unexpected COSTS? ANY Help to Contact Avast support or Administration would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thank You.
