Hi everyone,
I tested Avast today against some malicious Java Scripts and it looks like now Web Shield aborts connection for programs/scripts that are infected.
This may have come after I left feedback that Avast allows access to infected programs if Antivirus is turned off.
Avast is now able to trace the original initialiser of the connection (not the script interpreter) and suspend all network activities, even if there is no connection made to a blacklisted domain/IP. Removal of the related infectious source is then initialised, even though Antivirus is off.
It is a nice improvement. Can staff confirm this feature is really implemented, as it is not on the release notes?
