Samsung browser and Boat btowser fot Tablet. For both webshield does not detects url scans, in the activity protocol and summary there are no entries. Test with Chrome works.
Ok, boat browder is old, but samsung browser it is a shame

Well I wouldn't consider them Major browsers.

Until you mentioned the Samsung browser, I had never heard of it and I have had Samsung Phones in the past and a Samsung Tablet.  Neither of these even offered it as a suggested app and I have used the Samsung Smart Switch Mobile app in the past.

Well, maybe samsung browser is new on the market. It is my first Samung device, so i thought because samsung is the mobile leader thatswhy its browser should also be popular. Maybe it can be implemented to be supported by the webshield?

Is there a list of the webshield's supported browsers?

In general, if i use AMS with unsupported browser then am I unprotected? When i open malicous webpage with unsupported webbrowser,Avast will not detect the treath, right? For example, Eicar test virus page https://www.eicar.org/?page_id=3950 and try to download the Eicar files?

As an Avast User I don't believe there is a definitive list or not.

The only thing that would make it worth Avast doing that would be a pretty large audience (number using the Samsung browser) to make it worth doing.

I really don't know how the web shield integrates with Android browsers or how much work would be required, but the Windows version of Avast integrates with a very large number of browsers (again no definitive list of supported browsers).

Because i dont have the mobile device now, could you/someone check how AMS behave when opening the eicar test page posted above and trying to download the test files, please?
