Is this normal?
« on: January 10, 2021, 12:49:00 AM »
Hello all,
I am using avast security for mac (the free version). Recently I went to my Network Pane under system preferences and saw "avast security" under networks. I have used a few other antiviruses and have never seen them prop up under my network settings like this. This looks like a vpn connection (I already have nord vpn) and considering that avast has a seperate vpn app (secureline), i got suspicious and decided to ask if this is the case with you all? Or is some virus masquerading as my antivirus?

If this is normal, how is this "vpn" different from avast secure line?

Thank you all for your time!
