Mail problems

Hi,

Just installed VER 4.7 for running with Outlook Express 6(OE6)

Cannot get nor send mails unless I unmarked the scanning in the POP and SMTP tabs

OE6 gives the following Err msg:

ERR concurrent connections limit in avast exceeded (processes:?PID4[20])'
POP3
PORT: 110
(SSL):NO
0x800CCC90 : server error


Pls, HELP  :-[

Do you have another antivirus on your computer ? It probably collides with avast mail scanner.

Installed but not running when these errors occured.

errors are still expected under these terms?

Yes, Kaspersky is probably 'a little bit active', even when disabled.
