Record of registration key?

Should I keep a copy of my registration key in case something catastrophic happens, and if it were to happen would I just need to re-enter it into a new installation of avast to continue using it?

Well it's up to you but there certainly are lots of more important things to back up! ;D

You can always re-register so no really need to do that.
