Up to date Avast premium extreme load!
« on: January 24, 2021, 07:19:44 PM »
Avast is keeping the 6 cores of my laptop constantly at 100%
And this is constant! This makes my Dell XPS 15 noisy and uncomfortably hot!
* Rebooting - no difference.
* Disabling all shields - no difference.
The only thing I can do to prevent my laptop from becoming a space heater is uninstall this garbage.
I'm using a fully updated version: 20.10.2442 (build 20.10.5824.624)

This people have no technical support, do no software testing of any sort, and are totally irresponsible, as this is not the first problem they are causing me.
Anyone know how can I get my Order ID in order to request a refund and be done with these clowns - I have more then a year on my subscription. :(

Hi there. What I see a lot of times in these days is that people say that it helps to uninstall it and stop using it, when they actually didn't even try it. So, in your case, did you try to uninstall it and see if it fixes your problem? Because if it does, you can just try to reinstall it.
