We're pleased to announce that Avast Business Hub 8.13 has been released! (January 27, 2021).

This release brings a new service Cloud Backup in closed beta along with smaller optimizations related to Policies and Alerts.
Additionally, the release contains several quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

New Feature(s) & Enhancements
•   Closed beta: Added a new Cloud Backup service to the Business Hub for both single and multi-tenant consoles.
•   The Restart needed alert has been optimized so it is automatically removed if the device was restarted manually on the client side.
•   Updated Firewall settings in the new Policies for better orientation.
•   Added default sorting on the Policies page.
•   Added default sorting to all Reports.
•   Added more details to the Delete policy confirmation dialogue.
•   Remove competitive antivirus option is turned on by default on the Add device page.
•   Enhanced sorting on the Devices page.
•   Enhanced performance while loading the new Policies.
•   Added a feedback survey to the consoles.
•   Changed default setting for restarts in Policies from Restart when user logs off to Restart when needed by the service. This change applies only to predefined policies for workstations.

Resolved issues
•   Fixed an issue with a lot of IP addresses displayed on devices
•   Fixed an issue with Remote Access shield placed in a wrong Policy section
•   Fixed an issue with weekly scans set in policies in other languages
•   Multi-tenant: Fixed an issue with customer/site selector being cut off in some cases
•   Fixed an issue with adding ranges of ports in Firewall policy
•   Fixed an issue with the Viewer role having some actions available in the new UI
•   Fixed an issue with special characters not displayed correctly when used as device name
•   Fixed an issue with macOS Big Sur not being recognized by the console properly
•   Fixed an issue with Windows 10 not being mentioned in File shield report file path
•   Fixed an issue with activating sales keys in some rare cases
•   Fixed an issue with showing wrong Remote Control edition on a device in some rare cases

CBC-11351   Subscribing more devices ends up with an error if some license data are missing

CBC-12938   Stopping task for patch deployment doesn’t work
CBC-13044   Devices with incorrect last seen date and reinstall history
CBC-13389   Incorrect macOS agent outdated alerts in the console
CBC-13948   Remote Access shield engaged while it should be uninstalled
CBC-14635   On some devices Patch Management can’t be installed
CBC-14762   Delete policy doesn’t work in specific cases
