New beta version 21.1.2445

Hi everyone,

there is a new beta version ready - 21.1.2445 (build 21.1.5931).

What was fixed
- BETA logo is back in main User Interface
- Configuration of the program no longer restored/reset after update
- Missing notification when Password Protection is disabled fixed
- JAWS screen reader is now working correctly (except the JAWS version 2021, which includes the issue itself)

Known issues
- some obsolete Antivirus program files and folders may remain on disk after update
- detection dialogs from Identity Protection are sometimes not on top (and therefore visible, but detection and removal works fine)

No issues so far on this one, a part from that little annoying thing I've mentioned numerous times before.

Avast free (and others?) is still calling out to File Rep servers even when I have unchecked the "Enable reputation services" in the geek:area. It might be not respecting the settings with "Check my browsers for toolbars" aswell. I have unchecked the community IQ and other options on the privacy section.

I think there are still some advanced options missing in the geek:area, can we have those back if there are and maybe even more control over the product?

Note that disabling the reputation services certainly results in worse protection / detection capabilities.
Anyway, did you restart the computer after disabling that checkbox? Where exactly do you see Avast connecting? If you can guess, what's the trigger - e.g. starting a program, visiting a web page, or just randomly?

I did restart. Avast automatically connects to vl.ff.avast.com and filerep.ff.avast.com with the checkbox off. It will do it on it's own and after certain program launches.
