How do I kill off the Wireless inspector?
« on: February 08, 2021, 10:53:33 PM »
It keeps wanting to do a scan and at times will not give up, it gets it into a loop how do I kill it off please.............

I did write out a message but when I pressed to post it the scan splash woke up and broke my internet connection so this is an edited version......

Thanks from David

You shouldn't have you to kill it off as such.

What Avast version are you using Free or Paid version and build number ?
What are your windows network settings Private or Public, etc. ?
What would also help (determine what is the cause) is a screenshot of what it is that disturbs you ?

Have you checked the WiFi Inspector settings (as I don't get any intervention with my settings, attached screenshot) ?

Try that if it still continues uncheck the other option, but that one rarely triggers any popup.

Thanks will give that a try,  was getting wound up with that problem and my printer not working each time MS loads a new update, also ebay keeps setting out their page layout for pads (less info on a page) serves to make one irritated not think in a logical way.

Many thanks from David :)
