Update - 0x2000001c Error
« on: November 15, 2006, 11:47:14 PM »
I'm running a small network using the Managed edition of avast. Currently there are 9 computers + 1 Server (running SBS2003) all protected using Avast.

Unfortunately one computer, the Server, is refusing to update anymore, with the error code 0x2000001c. All the rest of the computers are updating fine.

A quick search indicates this is a licence problem, but I fail to see the reason. Any ideas?

I'll drop an E-Mail to Customer Support tomorrow, but I'm at home at the minute and just remembered about the problem, figured I would get a head-start on it.

Hi, and welcome to the avast forums!

Is the server communicating with the management server software? (i.e. does it appear as GREEN in the Computer Catalog in ADNM console?)

Thanks

Setup code 0x2000001C is "license banned".

Please contact our sales with all info about the license - send your customer number, also when and where you got it.

Your license is blacklisted because it's being refunded (it's SBS license probably used on full Server system).
As Kubec said, contact sales to get new valid Server license.
