There are 3 system files in the Avast! Virus Chest.
But Avast reported "no virus".
3 system files: kernel32.dll,winsock.dll,wsock32.dll

I was told that those were simply backups of system files, not anything to worry about.

Thug21 is correct.
You need only be concerned about files in the "Infected files" section of the chest.
