Unsubscribe from BreachGuard [resolved]
« on: February 16, 2021, 02:29:36 PM »
Hello,

I am trying unsuccessfully to unsubscribe from BreachGuard for which I have not received the order ID

After my first request, Avast mistakenly unsubscribed me from Premium Internet Security (!!!), and that's not what I wanted.

In my account, the subscription from BreachGuard is not listed.

So I have been trying for 2 days to resolve this problem.

How to do ?????

Hoping to find an answer, cordially,

Thanks for your help,

I have found a record of my orders from Nexway and Digital River, but I cannot find an order less than a month old.

Yet the BreachGuard application is well installed ...

I do not know how to do !

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

Your proposal does not work because I must provide in the form the identifier of the order.

In addition, even by attaching explanatory files, the requests are obviously handled by robots and the responses are inadequate.

cordially

Just enter/use 00000000 (Order-ID) and explain it in your request.

Hi

This is what I have already done: it does not change anything!

A few seconds after sending, I receive a message telling me that my unsubscription has been completed.

In fact, it was the unsubscription of Premium Internet Security that was inadvertently done by Avast.

In short, I don't know what to do.

You could try a slightly different direction, e.g. contacting Sales

Sales change order details wrong email address given, etc. - Submit a support ticket https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/sales in your case select the Billing, payment, or license issues option - and then the I have a different billing or license issue and click Next and follow.  Again using the 00000000 Order-ID as previously mentioned.

In that contact you could try giving a link back to this topic.

Thank you for your help DavidR,

I have tried this technique before but it does not work.

I add in my message a text file and an image to illustrate my difficulties.

I think that the attachments are not read ... I think above all that it is robots that answer me because the message is always the same (word for word), whether I try in English or in French..

Well I can't say as an Avast User, but the link I gave should push it in a different direction (not specifically unsubscribe) but to modify the licenses you had. Plus doing it and giving a link back to this topic, is likely to give more information than you can give in the support ticket submission.

However, it is entirely your choice.

and why Jean-Pierre wouldn't give here his last ticket ID (where it already has all the information)?
It wouldn't be the first time that avast staff visits the forum (international part) or that the information is reported to them by a sworn evangelist.  :)

Reported to Avast. Let's see if that helps.

Thanks Bob  ;)

@Jean-Pierre39
if you don't use the same e-mail address on the forum as the one you used for BreachGuard and/or for your support contact, you should maybe indicate here the references of your contact with avast (ticket ID).

Hi, This was for a trial subscription and it seems that you have been unsubscribed.

Hi

The problem is solved.

According to Avast, it was a typo in the email. However, BreachGuard appeared to be fine in my account without a typo ... weird!

As the system automatically deleted the automatic subscription to Avast Premium Securitu and the VPN, the Avast team transformed my subscriptions into the Ultimate version ... cool!
