Avast Omni support in Amazon Fire HD tablets
« on: December 28, 2020, 08:18:51 PM »
My avast omni finally arrived home yesterday, I added all 15-23 devices at home into it, I kinda liked doing that. First time I have to gather all the model names of all my IoT and mobile devices.

The setup was easy to do:
- All Smart TVs, Wireless printers, Routers and accesspoints were added into Households
- Mobile devices were added into each owner (4 owner totals)
- I did all recommendation and installations of Avast Omni in all PCs and laptops where it was asking to do it and Parental control for the kid's devices.

However there is a problem in the Amazon Fire Tablets, there is no Avast Omni native support in the Amazon App shop, and in the Avast Guardian Panel in my main laptop it keeps telling me to install Avast Omni in the 2 tablets,  I have:
- Amazon Fire HD 10 (7th Gen)
- Amazon Fire HD 10 (9th Gen)
So ok, it doesn't have a native Avast Omni in the Amazon App store
so I installed directly from the play store and the notification keeps saying the same.

Is there any fix for this???

Thanks

The VPN question depends on how you connect to your interent.
If you connect via a secure connection, no if the connection isn't secure, yes.
