Avast Premium Security Firewall is throttling Internet Speeds

For months I've been trying to figure out what is throttling my internet speeds.
Today I discovered that it's the Firewall in Avast Premium Security.

 >:( What the hell?!?  >:(

Is there a fix to ensure this doesn't happen?

I'm consistently being throttled out of 200MBs speeds thanks to the firewall.

That seems like a pretty big issue that needs to be addressed.

- Which version/build of Avast Premium..?
- OS..? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP/Build..?)
- Other security related software installed..?
- Which AV(s) did you use before Avast..?

Wait a second? Can you maybe explain how you discovered it's the avast firewall? That can give details, as it maybe is not the case.
