I've tried Easyminer, Awesomeminer, and several other highly recommended mining softwares, but everytime Avast detects a virus. I've confirmed the websites are the liget websites - I check online and all the mining blogs and forms say they are safe and that this is a common mistake made by anti-virus software, but I still want to make sure that I am safe.
I know these mining softwares have been around for years, so I can't imagine I'm the first to have this problem while using Avast. And the fact that they are not reported as false positive yet doesn't seem right to me either.
Does anyone have experience with cyptomining and how to have it work while still having anti-virus running and not trying to block it everytime? Avast put up an article on what it this is 'safe', but it doesn't list any programs as recommendations. The ones I tried to use all seem to have the same features that Avast looks for, but then it shuts them down before I can really get started or complete the installation in some cases.
