avast! Antivirus Mac Edition - betatesting

Hallo,

in a few hours, avast! Antivirus Mac Edition will be made available for betatesters.

If you:
- have Intel or PowerPC based Mac
- have Mac OS X 10.x installed
- are skilled enough to report possible issues in an exact and reproducible way
- are willing to help us with betatesting

... then write to cimbal@avast.com to get additional info. Your help will be very appreciated.

So if you are just curious how avast! for Mac looks like or you are eager to have avast! installed on Your Mac, this is not the right moment for you yet :) - the official release will follow very soon.

We may do this when the product gets final, until this happens, there's probably no point of doing so.

Also, up until recently, the U3 product hasn't been getting any traffic so there was probably no point of having a separate section for it...

Nice job on getting Avast For Mac out now we can say that Avast is compatible with virtually every platform  8)
Will this work with The administration console ?

Any idea when avast 5 or 4.8 will be out ?
