Has the Avast command line exe been erased by a program upgrade?
I am sure I used to get my free Avast Home Edition to automatically scan downloaded files using its command line version. When I looked in the avast directories I could not find the command line executable!

Do you mean the ashCmd.exe program? Unfortunatelly, it is part of the Professional avast! Edition only. So, once you register your Home version, it will disappear (I mean, if you had the demoversion of avast! Professional installed).

Or you refer to the ashQuick.exe file? It should always be present...

Must have been ashQuick as I have never had the Pro version.
Thanks for the reply ... it took me a while to get back & read it!
