Overbilling - Makes for a good Profit??
« on: February 26, 2021, 05:46:44 PM »
I have a PDF copy of a billing dated June 05, 2020.

I just received a notice that my account was auto paying for a total of $96.29 for a one year subscription.

Avast cannot seem to stick to their contracts, as shown above.
SO, I want this new billing rescinced and my Avast account CLOSED - AFTER I get a notification that my $96.29 has been put back on my credit card.

This is just total B.S. as I NEVER sign up for Auto-Pay anyway!
Please attend to this immediately. I could find no other way to make contact with Avast - no eMail address and NO telephone number.

Auto renewal is usually a default setting, so you may not have noticed it or didn't disable it.  That said the 1 year subscription should normally be the case, Why it has come early I as an avast user I wouldn't know.

Cancelling automatic renewal of the Avast subscription - See https://support.avast.com/en-en/article/35.

Refund request - https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/sales_refund If you haven't got the Order ID, etc enter 00000000 and give as much information that you can to help identify it.
