Program Data Files
« on: March 02, 2021, 04:44:01 AM »
Upon downloading and installing Avast, I decided to look through the files for it in C:\ProgramData\Avast Software\ for fun. A couple minutes in, I found C:\ProgramData\Avast Software\Avast\gaming_mode. When I opened it, I found dnddetection.dat and dndrules.dat, and I am wondering about the reasoning behind this entire file. I would love if anyone knew the reason for having them automatically in the unedited files that are installed with Avast, I would love to know why.
