Virus Definitions NOT Updating

No streaming updates for 12 hours and the last VPS update was over 24 hours ago... 210303-8.
Is there an issue?  or is it me?
When I use the manual request for updates it does the checking and comes back with everything is up to date.

Is anyone else having the same thing happen?

Not a problem here, see attached.
VPS isn't an issue provided that you are getting streaming updates, my last one a few minutes ago.

Problem is that it has been over 12 hours and no streaming updates.

Looking at your first image, you have a gap yes, I don't know if this is time zone related or not as I'm in the UK and Avast is the Czech Republic.  Although that would account a bit for time differences in our images, the actual streaming updates version numbers would/should be the same. But compare your last one with my 21030406_stream and there is roughly a 12 hour time difference.

That said over and above actual virus signatures there are other protection features.  Behaviour Shield, Cyber Capture and Hardened Mode, which aren't dependant on signatures alone.  Unknown file or behaviour etc. would result in an on-line check.

Personally if I were in your position, I wouldn't be unduly concerned.
Though if you haven't done a system restart in a while I would do that

Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
I did
1)  an update / reboot resulting in no change(no streaming)
and then
2) a repair / reboot, resulting in no change(no streaming) all it did was take the last update folder and change the time it created it. The content was the old information.

For some unknown reason, it stopped streaming after  21030406_stream.

Wonder why it has just stopped streaming for me?
Could it be because I am in the US and there is an issue with the communications?
Who might know this?

It has never stopped streaming before, at least not for this long a period of time.

Hopefully someone will be able to help me get the streaming started again.

I will keep an eye on the files and see if over time they start up again.

At this time it looks like "streaming" has begun.
