Track 0-day exploits
« on: December 06, 2006, 01:47:24 PM »
Hi malware fighters,

Those on the Internet curious about what softawre has 0-day exploits now, can use the new tracker from eEye Digital Security. De Zero-day tracker shows all new and old security leaks, that they have traced.

At this very moment seven zero days are unsolved, and are probably being used by malcreants. The oldest hole has been found in Windows 2000 and can cause a  Denial of Service. This vulnerability stayed unattended for 385 days. The most recent exploit is seven days old, and found up in Adobe's Acrobat ActiveX. From all seven zero days six are Microsoft's. Besides old holes there is alo an archive with patched zero-days exploits. The tracker can be found here: http://research.eeye.com/html/alerts/zeroday/index.html

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
