« on: March 11, 2021, 09:16:11 PM »
So a threat secure popped up for me, and unfortunately idk how to post an image, so I will type it out instead.

smb://79.124.62.222/CVE-2020-0796_SmbCompression
and said was blocked because I was infected with SMB:CVE-2020-0796 [Expl]
anyone know what is this and what should I do about this?

Hi,

This would be related to Samba protection.
Samba (SMB) allows a remote connection to share files in a network. When Samba protection is enabled, Remote Access Shield monitors SMB connections to block any threats.
You can find more information here https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Antivirus-Remote-Access-Shield-FAQ/
