This driver is installed by HP as a network adapter.

My Avast AV occasionally questions it, saying I have changed my network connection. Avast scans the driver and then says it is safe.
I can do without this kind of hanky-panky. Does anybody know why Avast does this ?

Hi, please post a screenshot.
I will do if it happens again - I have white listed the driver, so it may not alert again.
