Can anybody tell me why when I copy and then paste the registration key for Avast thet it keeps coming up with wrong paramiters. I have tried several ways to get the regestration number into the regestration box but none seems to work.

When you copy and pastem make sure you don't copy an extra space at the end.

See the tutorial:
http://www.avast.com/files/tutorials/insert_key.htm
Please take a look here:

What is the error message?
Is your system date/time correct?
Do you use copy & paste method?
Like Oldman said, are you sure you do not include the 'last blank space' in the paragraph while copying & pasting?
Which avast version are you trying to register (Home or Professional)?
