Introducing Hack Alerts — From now on, we’ll warn you if any passwords linked to your email address were compromised in a hack or a leak. (Just sign in to Avast Account within antivirus)
Hi
Is there any way to display the corrupted password instead of "*********".
This is a new feature in avast but the hacking is old (and known), I had changed my password at the time but I would like to check what the password was (to be sure not to use it again).
If not, can we at least know if the number of "*" match the number of characters of the hacked password or if it is general (12 "*" as far I'm concerned)?
Can't you use the Avast Hack check to get your answer? https://www.avast.com/hackcheck
Granted, it would be a lot easier if it was available directly in the app.

First, hackcheck tells me that my email address has not been hacked while the new function in the app tells me the opposite. :-\
Then, I tested hackcheck on another address, the site tells me that it has been hacked but no information on the password anymore.

edit:for the 2nd e-mail (hacked), maybe the information should have been sent to the e-mail address concerned, but still nothing received, neither in the inbox nor in the spams (it's been 1/4 hour)

The ideal would be to have in the main screen a section dedicated to the latest version installed and whether updated or not and the latest version of the virus DB. It would be as good as AVG's.
