Idiotic Avast Web Shield
« on: March 23, 2021, 05:57:34 AM »
I recently installed Avast Free Antivirus since my PC was suddenly attacked by malware. Then, I wasn't sure at first what was doing it but my high school website stopped working. My internet connection was fine but I couldn't access my school website. My innocent school website was blocked. What's really bad is that I MISSED MY ONLINE EXAM thinking the website was down. Later when I contacted my friends, they told me the website was fine, and that's when I realized I was screwed. I didn't understand why I couldn't access this site using either of the two domains it has. Then I my eyes rolled over to the notification area of Avast and I got really angry as it became clear to me what caused all this hassle.

Fix this or I'm going to tell all my friends and acquaintances that Avast is bad and they should cancel their subscriptions or something lol. But seriously, this wasn't a pleasant experience.
