Ehm, could you please rephrase the question?
Are you asking if avast can be used on machines running Windows Vista as their primary OS?

You've got it!
We have a small repair/ upgrade business and I need to plan ahead. With Vista on the way I've got to decide whether to renew BART or go a different way. I have not used VISTA betas so do not know how this is going to work, will the program recognize VISTA when offering to load registry etc.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, all BART features should work even for Vista-based machines...

Thanks for the answer!
Will program updates be released and testing carried out or is the plan to phase this out now?
I have been very impressed and have used the program daily so I would like to stick with it if I can. :)

Hi,

I'm sorry but I did not completely understand your question, what did you mean by "phase this out"?

We're continuously testing with the Vista beta builds... Should there be any problems, we'll fix them in one of the updates (although I don't expect that).
