« on: March 24, 2021, 03:36:06 PM »
We're pleased to announce that Avast Business Hub 8.17 has been released! (March 24, 2021).

The release brings the new modern and easy to use UI to all of our users.  We also added several improvements to our new service Cloud Backup currently in closed beta.
-------------------------------------------------------

New Feature(s) & Enhancements
•   The new UI now replaces the old UI with exception of a few features (Notifications, Remote deployment and Patches). These features are coming to the new UI soon.
•   Multi-company: Removed the possibility to open a site/customer in the old UI on a separate browser tab. A site/customer can be opened on a new tab in the new UI from the contextual menu on the main dashboard with sites/customers.
•   Multi-company Partners: it’s possible to find and activate an existing license in OMS via the Hub on the Subscription page.
•   Improved registration process initiated from Partner portal.
•   Adjusted various UI elements to improve accessibility and function of readers.
•   Cloud Backup closed beta: Added a report showing history of performed backup jobs.
•   Cloud Backup closed beta: Added a report showing summary information related to backup for each device.
•   Cloud Backup closed beta: Added a dashboard widget with basic overview of Cloud Backup.
•   Cloud Backup closed beta: Added alerts about overdue or failed backup jobs.
•   Cloud Backup closed beta: Cloud Backup alerts are now part of overall device health status.

Resolved issues
•   Fixed an issue with deleting unused policies.
•   Fixed an issue with adding URL exclusions to macOS Web shield.
•   Fixed various typos and UI glitches related to Cloud Backup.
•   Fixed issue of wrongly assigned policy after Cloud Backup is installed.
•   Fixed issue when in some situations Cloud Backup wasn’t installed properly.
•   Fixed an issue where site/customer admins were able to initiate the purchase process to buy Premium Remote Control. Now only Global Administrator can purchase the service for the site/customer.
