Win32
« on: December 22, 2006, 11:40:55 AM »

   Hello and Good Day,
I just formatted my PC and installed Avast.  As it rebooted and was scanning all my computer it found 3 Win32 viruses.  I was given several options and one was to delete.  I deleted them.  Is my PC safe, now???
Isn t it strange to have caught a virus after five minutes on the net?
                                                     Thanx Everyone,
                                                     Happy Holidays,

                                                                             Jmmm47

Strange... just formated?
Seems that avast detect false positives.
Which are the name and the path of the infected files?

The recommended action when a virus is found is given according to the virus type and source it came from (file, mail, etc.).
Generally, it's safer send the file to Chest (Quarantine) for further analysis and not just deleting it.
